Description
Fast Access Tourniquet - "Extra-Lite". Our first foray into tourniquet holders happened to be our lightest yet (and heaviest). A low-profile, rapid-access tourniquet carrier that mounts your TQ exactly where you need it — pocket, plate carrier, duty belt, or car sun visor (is it sunny, or just dangerous?)
Purpose-built for windlass-style tourniquets with velcro straps (CAT-style). The tourniquet is held by both a bungee/shock-cord loop and the holder's integrated velcro. In use, release the bungee and the tourniquet unfolds under gravity — the velcro catches it so it ends up staged and ready to apply instead of on the ground. That staging area makes one-handed application far easier.

What is FAT-E?
FAT-E is a rapid-access tourniquet carrier.
What does it hold, and how does it retain the tourniquet?
It holds a windlass style tourniquet with Velcro backing. A bungee cord provides tension to keep the TQ secure during movement but allows for rapid deployment (gravity assisted). When folded correctly, the TQ unfurls but remains attached to the Velcro backing, preventing the TQ from falling to the ground and keeping it in a position for rapid application.
What colours does it come in?
Blackout and Hi Vis Green.
What's it made of, and how durable is it?
Every part is 3D-printed in-house from PETG — a tough, impact-resistant thermoplastic.
How do I clean or disinfect it?
Wipe it down with the same surface-disinfectant wipes you already use on your gear, or with soap and water. PETG stands up to routine wipe-down disinfection. Don't autoclave, boil, or put it through a dishwasher — sustained high heat can warp the plastic, so clean it at room temperature.
Is it safe to use around patient care?
These are gear organizers and holders, not sterile or implantable medical devices. They aren't sold sterile and aren't meant for the sterile field or single-patient-use clinical applications — they're durable carry-and-organization gear for your kit.
